Booking Terms & Conditions Agreement

• A non-refundable booking fee of $100 is required to secure your date.
• 50% of the hire fee is due no later than 30 days before your event.
• The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your event.
• We offer payment plans so you can pay your event off over time if this is easier — please ask at the time of booking.
• If payments are not received by the due dates, The C Space reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain all amounts already paid.

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will forfeit the booking fee only.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will be charged 50% of the hire fee.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will be charged the full hire fee.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur an administration fee.
• If a force majeure event (e.g. extreme weather, government restrictions) occurs before setup, the booking can be rescheduled without penalty.
• If a force majeure event occurs after the venue has been set up, the hirer will be liable for all costs already incurred by The C Space for staff, labour, and services delivered up to that point.

Security Bond

A refundable Security Bond is required for all bookings and is assessed based on the type and scale of the event.

The Security Bond applies to both The C Space and our sister company, The Little Play Co, and extends to the hire of all soft play equipment, ball pits, inflatables, bouncy castles and associated hire items.

The Security Bond will be refunded within 5 business days following your event, provided no damage, loss, excessive cleaning or breaches of these Terms and Conditions have occurred.

The Security Bond may be partially or fully withheld to cover, including but not limited to:

• Repairs for any damage caused by the Hirer, guests, contractors or suppliers.
• Additional cleaning fees.
• Call-out fees for trades (e.g. electricians, plumbers or locksmiths) required due to the actions of the Hirer or their guests.
• Damage to or staining of soft play equipment, inflatables or other hire items caused by face paint, glitter, confetti, silly string, paint, slime, coloured hairspray, food colouring, fake tan, makeup, ink, permanent markers or any similar staining or abrasive products.
• Retrieval of helium balloons from the venue’s 9-metre ceiling – a $150 retrieval fee will apply.
• Leaving lighting, air conditioning or heating operating after vacating the venue – a $50 fee will apply.
• Nothing is to be stuck, taped, pinned, glued or otherwise adhered to the walls, ceilings, windows, floors or fixtures of The C Space.
• All ball pit balls must be returned to the ball pit at the conclusion of the hire. Ball pit balls must not be removed from the venue or taken home. Missing ball pit balls may result in deductions from the Security Bond or replacement charges.
• Nothing is to be attached, taped, pinned, glued or otherwise adhered to any soft play equipment, inflatables or bouncy castles under any circumstances.

Where the cost of repairs, replacement, cleaning or missing equipment exceeds the value of the Security Bond, the Hirer agrees to pay the outstanding balance upon receipt of an invoice.

• The venue must be left exactly as it was upon arrival, with all rubbish placed in the outdoor bins provided.
• Standard cleaning is not included in the hire fee. Excessive mess will result in loss of bond or extra charges.
• A spray mop is available in the venue — any spills must be cleaned immediately to prevent staining of the polished concrete floors.
• Saturday night bookings incur a mandatory cleaning fee of $150 due to extended hours and higher risk to floors from alcohol.
• An optional full cleanup service is available for $350 (in addition to the $150 mandatory fee) for Saturday night events.
• The C Space is a completely smoke-free venue. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the complex.

• Your hire period includes bump-in and bump-out time.
• Access outside of the booked hire period will incur $250 per hour, charged in full-hour increments.
• The hirer is responsible for ensuring all guests, vendors, and contractors comply with venue rules.
• The venue must not be used for any unlawful activity or in a manner that may damage the reputation of The C Space.
• Subletting or re-hiring the venue to another party is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

• All electrical equipment brought into The C Space must have a current Test & Tag certification in compliance with AS/NZS 3760.
• Untested or unsafe equipment cannot be used.
• The hirer is responsible for any costs associated with damage, faults, or power outages caused by their equipment or that of their suppliers.
• Food trucks must have their own power source. Venue power is not available for food trucks.

• All external vendors (e.g., caterers, entertainers, hire companies) must hold current Public Liability Insurance and provide evidence upon request.
• The C Space is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any personal property brought into the venue.
• The hirer accepts full responsibility for the actions of all guests, contractors, and suppliers during the hire period.

• All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
• The C Space and The Little Play Co accept no responsibility for injury caused by misuse of equipment or lack of supervision.

• The hirer is responsible for ensuring alcohol is consumed responsibly.
• To sell alcohol at the venue, the hirer must obtain their own liquor licence.
• Any incidents arising from intoxication may result in immediate termination of the event without refund.

• Noise levels must comply with local council regulations.
• Live music, DJs, and amplified sound must end by 11.30pm unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The C Space holds lost property for 7 days after the event. Unclaimed items may then be disposed of.

All hirers and guests must follow The C Space’s emergency exit and evacuation procedures in the event of an alarm or emergency.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
